Noise pollution is a sound of unpleasant and annoying nature. It is a high intensity of sound. The heavy industries, vehicles with very high speed and high pitching hours making a noise. The blasting in mines it makes a noise in urban areas. Airport, industrial complex, mining areas, power generation stations are some of notorious sources of noise which pollute the calmness of society.

Physiological Effect:

  • Loss of memory
  • Pain in heart
  • Headache
  • Rise in blood pressure

The harmful noises are created by various sources:

  • Industrial activity: Textile industries, Pneumatic industries, Steel Rolling etc.
  • Transport activity: Automobiles, Railway, Aero planes etc.
  • Cultural activity: Festival, Marriage function, Religion programmed etc.
  • Domestic activity: T.V. , Radio, Tape etc.
  • Agricultural activity: Tractors, olxslot Threshers etc.
  • Defense activity: Tanks, Gunfire, Bombs etc.
  • Mining activity: Blasting     
  • Other activity: Stone crushing, Wood crushing, Dam construction etc.
