Housekeeping is a subject which is applied to all types of houses including hotel and hospital. For proper working of all establishments, housekeeping is a must as it helps to earn revenue for them. The housekeeping must be functional; it must bring aesthetic conditions and should render comfort to the guests. While working as a part time faculty in many institutes at Durgapur, the author had the opportunity to teach housekeeping subject and this advantage prompted him to write this book. This book is mainly covered with the syllabus of housekeeping from WBUT and other universities.
