The strength of the input signal is increased because of such feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"313\" height=\"216.9235024541042\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/LyZWGpbqKcw-473WfNyatp20ctx2NXwFfASnuPj_pBrJiYmCGaSCTDXUbPDBTn9Xcbn7W1fubkVml4nOlvcM6vvYqkTmrydOL2uu1lYfypJ5eQKujppvygWfcMhnw0vR9edgqGVi\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Negative Feedback Amplifier<\/strong>\u2013 The negative feedback amplifiers are one in which the the source and feedback signals are out of phase. The strength of the input signal decreases because of such feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"308\" height=\"184.33486162878913\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/59fG7OiB1wqw61vmV33eZHO8MrUzXOLidF2spGTUjtXOWQNtYOBOVGyqmPd6LVUDuS8d4AWxltczDT4btBa9JpsY5tJ4ab0iHWQvvbwjhkXpkGDN-iVVnUneTU7MimswX0XrorH0\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"252\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/S6OspRp_h-GDH1UgPqTVfLVcKuPsl28U4lNiqa_dbY1jBcd41Iw_NtTYv22adCKAyz3-c4bDmc6JrQ0m_jRD2-ml6CEJVIRx9ZYvYx4uUwFRZpDyZWKxbZILq5iwj_RKAittmiB0\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we see from the above figure the input voltage is represented by V<sub>s<\/sub> with gain A, that produces an amplified signal, V<sub>o<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some part of this amplified signal is fed again as feedback which has a gain of \u03b2.\u00a0 V<sub>f<\/sub>, this signal is provided as the feedback to the summer or a mixer that resultantly produces either<strong> sum or difference<\/strong> of two <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sine_wave\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">signals<\/a> depending on their phase relationship..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gain of an amplifier is the ratio of output voltage or current to the input voltage or current. The basic types of amplifiers on the basis of feedback are below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types on basis of feedback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voltage Series Feedback: <\/strong>In this type of arrangement the feedback which is applied to the input is connected in shunt. The portion of output which is connected to the input voltage is in series with the input voltage. Hence, we can say that the feedback is in shunt by means of output and in series by means of the input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"563\" height=\"317\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/I4RmueXVIlPcpH2hl6F6zvZLxw8ZH41HTCXSkiSBU1IjQanY_urgIrXYuldYzpzhCaSlrQz5FKiJC53sQdI3UudHAlzRWYnmKEnfpyAr9xhy-KQjtvqwZqTWQ2AcOzxQKCoeobLK\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voltage shunt Feedback: <\/strong>In this type of arrangement the feedback which is applied to the input is connected in series. As the connection is in series with the input the value of impedance is high. The value of impedance is high as the output being in series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"222\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/MtrGr6ZnCC17pfKg_Id6hHbLSXzR-D6W6hz4cFTc4tgAcjABqFZaFENFuXYEQI79CkfBqh6rY6tXI9oSLVIIU1ocHdasc7-LQ28AJIxeH-VrBAw6enuYdzGi2up335ZIGx64Pjr-\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Current Shunt Feedback:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current shunt feedback circuit is one which has the feedback circuit and also which is in series for output and in shunt to the input signal. Then the connection is in parallel with the input the value of impedance is low. Also, the output being in series results in a high value of impedance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the parallel connection with the input the value of impedance is low at this point.
