Firstly, The time domain differential equations are transformed into algebraic equations of the frequency domain. In this we firstly solve the equations in frequency domain. Then the result obtained is transformed in time domain. This then provides us with the unique solution of the differential equation. Therefore, the Laplace Transform is <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"256\" height=\"61\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/u7COJLaahaX6KxdQMwkatbGZ1BU7Rty-B4IWr1DNwmlUnht4lY7NMS91phLvXc7gyZFoif_BD3VkiQDE1S_N7-A9PPyms0MJYNs7dL74g9S_pJrPa6zfITnW_QycVyDhpmh1CiRF=s0\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advantages are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is systematic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It gives a total solution (transient and sustained solution) in one operation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The initial conditions are automatically specified in the transformed equations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many functions which do not have Laplace Transforms. These functions are not generally used in analysis of linear systems. But some conditions can be defined to get Laplace transformation of such functions.
