This distribution looks like a bell that is why the distribution is also known as bell shaped curve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"429\" height=\"202\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/LWSX05ZCbEAmcJ-bqH6bu8cb5VEHZBYfpevjXIJpPwyqcAA5SWWwO3mUgmfmme0UKHvd8oNw6it5TFNchcKMRwFpAhFOAtJOrGl4vKiOTFLL-LAW8_AG14-386nKqgDilsH1HvaJ\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is considered as the most important distribution in statistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data like heights, size of products produced by machines, marks of students follows normal distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data following normal distribution(Gaussian distribution) is called normally distributed data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this blog you will learn how to use the normal distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Parameters<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The normal distribution has two parameters, one is mean and other is standard deviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mean shows where the peak of the distribution is, and standard deviation is the measurement of variability. SD defines how much the distribution is spread.
